June was a rainy month, but we still managed to spend a good portion of our free time at the pool. Kaeta quickly became a "mermaid" (what she called herself after learning to swim on her own). One night after a day of swimming, Kaeta asked if she could sleep in the bathtub. Somewhat confused, we asked her why she would want to do that. She was quick to remind us that she was a mermaid and didn't want her scales to dry out.
Note: Despite his protests, Jon wasn't allowed to make her a bed in the tub.
