Anybody else have this problem? --> Every year Amie and I quibble over differences in those little family traditions surrounding Christmas activities that remind us of our youth. But the paramount debate is always when to open those non-Santa gifts. Amie's family was suckered every year into waiting until Christmas morning to soothe the anticipation of what lay just beneath that thin film of wrapping paper. My family, on the other hand, celebrated the spirit of Christmas on Christmas eve AND Christmas day by opening the non-Santa loot on the eve and then waiting for morning too open the big gift from Santa (see the symbolism?) Amie won this year. I have a year to prepare my argument, and with your help, I will be triumphant . Please submit any suggestions by comment.
