Since Matt was staying with us for a couple weeks we decided to throw our first annual Halloween costume party. It was a lot more fun than we expected--mostly because kids under 18 were not invited.
We originally planned to be pirates (guess we were subconsciously acting on Pirates of Caribbean marketing), but Amie wouldn't let me buy a $50 hook. Unfortunately, her second idea was to dress up as the Blue Man Group. We forgot to take a picture of the three of us together, but we did get one with Matt, Jon, and a friend that showed up as the random blue man--he won the "Nerdiest Costume" award.

Amie, after the party without her blue-cap
