We had a ton of fun on Loreli's birthday. Turning 3 was a serious milestone for her, and we tried to make it everything she expected. We started with a morning wake-up call that included party balloons, hats, and noise makers. Uncle Ben was in town and helped us with the fun. I guess Ben likes hot moms.
For lunch we went to Loreli's favorite restaurant--Chucky Cheese (and you all know what a blast that place is with all the noise and screaming kids!) Her cousins Beth, Jason, and Kayli joined for the fun. It was Loreli's birthday, so she was allowed to cheat on Skee Ball. Cheating didn't help her score much though :-)
That evening we enjoyed cake and ice cream. Jon decorated the cake exactly as she wanted: Chocolate cake with sprinkles in the frosting and lots of strawberries on top.
