Because Halloween was on a Sunday, we celebrated with cousins a couple days early at a Trunk-or-Treat--which is WAY better than going door to door. We walked through a parking lot at the Church and filled our baskets in less than 30 minutes. It was still light outside when we drove home!
We learned from Halloween 2005 to not pick out the girls costumes. Loreli chose to be Tinker Bell (She watched Peter Pan about 10X while in the hospital) and Kaeta was a Barbie princess (what else would she choose to be?). I dressed as a hard-hat, tape measuring wearing guy--stuff I spotted on my garage workbench as we got into the car to go to the Trunk-or-Treat. Hey, at least I tried. Amie went as herself: an any-minute-now pregnant lady.
