We're ALIVE!
We spent the last three weeks driving over 4,000k miles with 4 kids and a puppy just to attend a family reunion and to enjoy time with grandparents and family. And we did it all without losing a child or getting a single traffic violation. That is living life on the edge!
However, because we're afraid of bringing back unwanted suppressed memories, we're not going to write much about this trip. Below are a few pictures of the trip. Unfortunately (or fortunately for some) our camera broke shortly after arriving, so many of our pictures came from others.
This was the Driver's perspective for 48 hours of the trip...
This is the cheesy grin that hides insanity...
We saw a lot of wild animals...
Calvin was happy for his baby blessing...
We visited Lagoon...
We endured a fashion show...
Cousin Jack, Aunt Spring, and Uncle JT visited...
Cousin Seth spent a couple days with us...
The camera broke...
We enjoyed the reunion at Bear Lake...
Mapleton gave us this rainbow before we left...
(is this why we keep returning?)

And you didn't even call me - Thanks Jon, I'll remember that next time I'm in Houston :) (like I'll be there anytime soon)
Looks like you had fun! Did your camera by any chance get used by the kids and mysteriously end up broken? (I use the term "kids" loosely here! ;) )It happed to us twice where the zoom lens came back with an extra 1/8 turn in it and the pics looked like yours. I figured I had nothing to lose at that point. Try grabbing the lens, and while your turning it off, crank on it. It worked for us both times and it clicked back where it was supposed to be. Good luck (or happy shopping for a new one!)
Lets see some new images. Here is my blog http://mjdavidwest.blogspot.com/
