Another Trip to Atlanta

Jon took a work-related training class in Atlanta and invited the family to join. Of course we had some fun once the training was over.

We spent time with the Kellys checking out the remodel of our 'investment' house. They've really done a ton of work...the inside was gutted, roof replaced, two rooms and two bathrooms added to upstairs, a new over-sized 3-car garage and apartment built, and a new master suite built out with a celebrity sized closet.

Then we took time to visit Stone Mountain, a theme park near Atlanta. We spent the day together as a family, then Paul and his family dropped by for the firework/lazer show ending. We give Stone Mountain 9/10 stars (it lost a star only because I was upset that three of the world's smallest pieces of chicken took me for $9!!!)

We took a tram ride to the top of Stone Mountain.

Saw a giant carving in the largest outcropping of granite in North America

Took a ride on the steam boat "Scarlett O'Hara"

Saw a "real" Pumpkin tree

Posed with a Native American

Paddled across a lake

Played with farm animals (Kaeta didn't get very close.)

...And Went to jail
